OMAAP
The Oklahoma Modified Alternative Assessment Program for Grades 3-8 and "End-of-Instruction" (EOI) secondary level are aligned to a modified version of the state-mandated curriculum, the Priority Academic Student Skills (PASS) which has been adopted by the State Board of Education and is the curriculum foundation for all public schools. These modified assessments are intended for some students with disabilities and for whom the regular OSTP assessments are inappropriate. Some general modifications to the Alternative Assessment are: three answer choices, two or three items per page, one-column format, larger font than in Oklahoma Core Curriculum Test (OCCT) test books, bold and underlined key text in items and passages as appropriate, and avoided use of "no change" as an answer choice.
